Born and raised in Paris, France, I moved to New York in 2010. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in the Photography department in 2015.
I have decided to capture Paris since 2010 for "The Parisienne". I plan to document the combination of our contemporary society and the historical city. This project is still on going.
Lotus was shoot over a 4 month a travel around Asia. The perspective of discovering new countries and cultures was the main aspiration of this project. Drawn to capture black and white landscapes, it inspired me to communicate the dependent and integral relationship humans have with nature. The contrast between nature and city is intriguing as people build concrete cities that never sleep yet constantly trying to embrace the environment and implement projects. In Singapore, a garden was created allowing people to access the most advanced, outstanding yet largest climate controlled conservatories in the world. Whilst, some cultures such as the Balinese devote daily ritual ceremony-infused which gave me the opportunity to capture the preservation by humans on its culture to connect with the elements of nature. A dichotomy between contemporary cities and nature is the essence of this series. The use of negative space is key as it allows me to search for the chemistry in these opposite landscapes. I've came up with a project called "Lotus".
